1)recently, Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima was chosen as the new face of Marc Jacobs' new fragrance, Decadence. You may know her as one of the world's highest-paid models, but did you know that she is also one of the longest-tenured Victoria's Secret's Angels — contracted since 2000? Here are some lesser-known facts about the 33-year-old supermodel.

2)As a child, she used to hate getting photographed and cried whenever someone clicked her picture.

3)The Victoria’s Secret advertisement starring Lima, which was broadcast during Super Bowl XLII in 2008, was the single most-seen ad of the game, watched by over 103 million viewers.

4)Lima was named the sixth most dangerous celebrity to search for on the Internet by the computer security company McAfee in 2010. The ranking was based on McAfee's analysis of sites laden with malicious software that use the name of popular celebrities to lure people.

5)Despite winning several beauty pageants during her early teens, she did not consider pursuing a modeling career. However, at 15, she entered the Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" contest to accompany a friend who did not want to participate alone, and finished in first place.

6)In a 2011 interview with The Daily Telegraph, she revealed her strict diet regimen. According to Google, Lima's diet became so popular that it eventually became one of the top five most searched diets on the Web in 2012.

7)She made her debut on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 1999 and has been a constant fixture ever since, missing only one year (2009) due to her pregnancy.
